This thread really confronts me with how dark and depressing much of the music i listen to actually is :laugh:

I thought of several great songs, then realized that they're really about heartbreak, failure of communication, obsession/stalking, unreciprocated love, etc. Actually that Tin hat Trio song can be interpreted as being depressing as well, but i found it too beautiful and cute not to post.

I'm still in love with two classics- Rod Stewarts "You're in My Heart" and Frank Sinatra's "The Way You Look Tonight"- both bring to mind the look of amazement and "damn I'm lucky" that you get on a man's face when you've just stepped out dressed nicely for something... the longer you've been together the better that look becomes
