I've PM'd this to a few folks, but I also wanted to share it with the whole group. This is a video that was shot in one continuous take, with no edits.

Those of you in the video field will immediately see how difficult this is, but even if you're not in the field and you watch the video, notice how the continuity affects you as a viewer. Such a nice change from the quick-cut, hyperactive style we've been seeing lately.

It's in HD as well, so you can view it full screen with good quality. It was shot on film too, and as much as I love video, there's nothing like film. Just great work:

That's pretty great...the logistics and timing are awesome. But the most impressive thing to me there is the location scouting. They managed to find a place that would work for them and their concept without being in a high traffic area to incur a lot of hassle with blocking off roads.

Here's another one-take video that's really cool. A friend's boyfriend is on the team that made it, and hearing about the work that went into it was fascinating.

love it! i liked Beyonce's "Single Ladies" music video for the same reason. there's a bit of editing at the end, but had the same visual effect for me overall

Wow! Like a giant version of "Mouse Trap." That is incredible. It's choreography. My favorite part was the spinning bass guitar that hit the bottles - fit right into the song too, of course. Just wonderful. Thanks for sharing... makes me glad I'm primarily an editor and not a shooter. That humbles me.

Yep. Fayetteville, NC. Props to Eastern NC! Love the 910. :)

Very impressive. That was a long day, I promise you that, but worth it! Great video, and awesome lighting design.
