Alien Swarm.

I've been hearing a lot about this new game "Alien Swarm".
It was released a day or two ago on Steam, free of charge. So far I've heard that it's much like Left 4 Dead, besdies the fact that it deals with aliens instead of zombies, and you can choose ranks/class.

Has anyone here played it? If so, what do you think of it?

I play it with a group of friends. It's a pretty basic game - Not a lot to it. So playing public games is kind of boring. But when you've got friends with a lot of communication going on it's really fun to try to beat the Insane modes.

It's kind of one of those things that is fun in small doses, but it's so repetitive that it's not really going to last once the hype dies down a bit.
