Real tears come from the weiner. Barry White makes the best sad songs.

[Enta Eih, Nancy Ajram.]

The first time I heard this back in '07 - now it's become quite another regular.

(Well, it didn't exactly make me cry - but made me feel touched that it made me tear a little, particularly given the circumstances I was in back then.)

i think the second movement of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concert #2 is very emotional. i went to a symphony performance of it once and it was especially moving for me, i cried more at that performance than i have ever cried in my life.

that is a good song.
one of the most moving jazz songs to me is Coltrane's song Alabama. the opening especially is so tragic, and it feels like he is just raw with emotion when he plays it.

Actually, my roommates and I would sing this song when we took showers together in our hall bathroom. This, and anything by Queen. Shower acoustics are excellent.

Uh, separate stalls though. Of course.

Sounds romantic. Was that before or after you guys doinked?

For sure Vincent and Time in a Bottle by Jim Croche made me cry when I was a kid. Also when my sister used to play Stairway to Heaven on the piano I would cry uncontrollably even without the lyrics. She would ask me why and I really didn't have a clue other than the music sounded so lonely. Which reminds me, the Beatles All the Lonely People made me cry too.

As an adult I only tear up for sentimental reasons such as Moon River (because it was my parents song and they have both passed away) or because I'm touched by the beauty of a song. The first time I heard the Cocteau Twins Alice (LONG BEFORE the Lovely Bones came out). YouTube - Cocteau Twins - Alice (Lyrics)

I also wept through a live performance of Paganini once.

My left eye can't usually handle this song. Then the right one joins in and we'll all have a party.
