^My aim wasn't to compare the films, but just using 'Magnolia' as an example of a drama that's pretty "hit or miss". It seems that most Coen Bro films are this way. Either you're a fan or you aren't... If that makes a lick of sense.

I'm irritated that 'A Serious Man' isn't on Netflix's "instant que"... I can't watch it from my xbox. :/

I think he meant that it is a little weird to compare a Coen Brothers film with a Paul Thomas Anderson film, because they have different styles.

I found it awfully disappointing, the only reason I went to see it was because it was made by the Coen brothers :doh:
