[Stop-motion] Animation

I <3 stop-motion to death. I just wanted to make a thread where I/we share some of our favorite animation works.

I'll start with William Kentridge because he's a beast. His works are stop-motion videos made from a conglomeration of charcoal drawings to which he adds/erases frame-by-frame. His stuff has a glowy, incandescent feel to it from the way the charcoal casts a permanent shadow on the paper:

There is so much good old Soviet and Eastern European stop motion animation its ridiculous.

unfortunately, youtube has taken down most of the best clips :(
