    9. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
    10. mmmhhh .. Lola rennt ! (uh run lola run in english i think)
    11. the matrix (1, it'd be kind of dumb to dismiss the super cool first movie because the sequels weren't as good)
    12. The fountain
    13. I liked K pax, and I don't care what you think
    14. Donnie Darko was fun
    15. Leon (the professional)

    1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
    2. Donnie Darko
    3. American Beauty
    4. The Prestige
    5. Heat
    6. Silence of the Lambs
    7. Pan's Labyrinth
    8. My Best Friend's Wedding

    12. Kill Bill
    13. Alien
    14. Moulan Rouge
    15. Hero

But I have to say that movies I can't get out of my head include Requiem for a Dream, Hostel, and the entire Saw 7-movie series. All kind of disturbing but also making me think...

Special mentions also go to Dark City and Aliens and Se7en.

    1.pulp fiction
    2.the big lebowski
    3.pan's labyrinth

4.Ghost in the shell (the first movie, I thought the second was basically the slow motion presentation of obvious concepts, it took me 3 tries spanning years to finish it: the anime 'stand alone complex' is MUCH better)

    6. The Godfather 3 for its ending and well, it was the end of the godfather trilogy after all
    7. Twelve Monkeys

    9. The Good, The Bad and the Ugly
    10. Lawrence of Arabia
    11. Ben Hur (good old xmas peplum <3 )
    12. Contact (its not slow! It's just congruent with the time scales of the seti project)
    13. 2001, a space odyssey (See, THATS a slow movie now)
    14. Sonatine
    15. Kids return (also a Kitano movie, not very well known but mucho awesome)
