I saw the 12 o clock premiere with my INFJ BFF. Was awesome. What did you people think? I can't wait for the next movie.

Oh, I thought you'd seen the meeting between our prime minister and your president.

But you mean the other Harry Potter.

I'm going tonight. I doubt it will top Transformers 2, though. And by that, of course, I mean overall quality, not box office receipts.

THERE WILL BE SPOILERS IN THIS POST!

Was disappointing from a literary consistency standpoint [yes I'm one of those] however it was superbly entertaining and a great movie. The older actors are just awesome, I find myself hanging on every one of Snape's slowly enunciated words, Carter is an incredible Bellatrix, and Slughorn was hilarious and well played. I just don't understand why they'd add 5-10 minutes of content that wasn't in the book [Bella and Fenrir showing up at The Burrow] yet not include any kind of explanation as to why Horcruxes are important, what the other ones are, why Riddle would be attracted to certain things, things like that, which clearly are important to the finale of the story. Although, I did practically elbow my sister to death when Harry touched Slytherin's ring and it prompted a reaction, you could see Dumbledore figured out exactly where the 7th Horcrux was right there [Dark magic leaves traces...].

The 3 kids tend to do the whole "hey we're normal kids too and have all these problems just like real kids" thing well, but when faced with important plot situations it seems like they have the range and acting ability of an igneous rock. However, Luna is just the best. Constant source of laughs, she's a great character and played perfectly.

Overall very entertaining, and I really enjoyed it.

Isn't it just awful that I haven't even seen any one of the Potter movies nor even read any of the books? I've meant to do it but haven't still gotten round to it. Am I missing something life-changing?

Bad pic but it's hilarious. I read a few of the books but hadn't seen any of the movies. A midnight showing of a movie sounded fun, so I went! I even dressed up! My sister was tonks, one of the other girls was bella.

I have to be honest, I've never gone to a movie and seen fans dress up as the characters.

I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter. That said, I think I'll have to wait until this comes out on DVD. It would be a different story if I could drive or had friends to go with.

There was a guy that looked exactly like Draco Malfoy at the theater... it was funny. Then there were just a bunch of girls in wizard robes.

yeah there were a shit ton of people in wizard robes, some girls were just in school girl uniforms, although they weren't Hogwarts uniforms, so it didn't make a whole lot of sense.

I haven't seen it yet, but I feel comfortable predicting that the book was better. The first book was really the only one that a movie could do justice to, though.

I don't know what you all are smoking, but this had to be the most boring Potter flick of them all. There was just nothing fantastical about it. I mean, sure, it was darker, but still, it's a fantasy movie. And they could've extended the Voldemort backstory a lot further.

The crush scenes were totally lame. It's as if it was trying to be Twilight, which I regret to have seen.

I mean, sure, it had corpses playing the ultimate reversal role on the living, but overall, it just seemed cheaper. In particular, the enchanted portraits didn't move!!!

I wish Michael Bay would direct the last two movies.

Potter 6 should take lessons from Transformers 2 and have a more realistic love story. It'll be better for the adolescents in the long run.

Haven't seen it yet. Am a little sad I didn't have the time or schedule to see the midnight viewing. Those are always really fun, and I love seeing people dress up for it.

Unfortunately, I'll have to wait until next Thursday to see it. Will the be only time I'll be able to schedule it in. I'm really excited to see what they've done with Riddle's story!
