And this is exactly why we hired him.
I've been inspired to drink some coffee and eat a fried peanut butter banana sammy while waiting to be devoured. Nice job, teams!
And now: intermission! Let's go out to the lobby and have ourselves a treat. Then watch for the next challenge sometime over the weekend.

In the interest of fair play, I wish to point out that I believe the Black team should have 23 points instead of 22, and be tied with Green for first place. They had 18 before, and should get 5 for second place in Challenge 4.

5+3+10+5 = 22 Points
isn't that obvious?

Yes, you'll always be number 42 1 in our book!
So that all teams have the benefit of all rules clarifications, here's one that I posted in response to a post in one of the private team forums:
Clarification: the challenge was intentionally vague so no clarification is forthcoming.
IOW, do whatever you want. This is supposed to be a fun one.

We experience MIA at times, but it's generally based on the challenge. Some people will really be into a particular challenge and then sit another one out. That's cool though, because too many people involved in the decision making for any one challenge is kind of a bear to deal with.

Dunno, themselves I suppose. Could make for more interesting 'occurrences' if (read when) people start bitching that they've got some person in their team that's not a REAL whatever-type, and blaming their losses on that etc. Could be quite amusing.

I was seeing both situations in terms of the ends. To me, they're equal. Perhaps what you're getting at is the process of keeping track of your post count without having the non-official ones interfere?
I haven't stopped laughing while working on this challenge. I almost pissed myself last night I was laughing so hard and I had tears rolling down my eyes. It was a beautiful and a very happy evening. :holy:

Can we make the gauntlet posts not count toward our post count?
Why does it matter?
disregard
07-24-2008, 07:40 PM
Because our post count is right below our type, and as long as we are acknowledged for our number of posts, that number should be representative of substantial posts we make (which is consistent with what MBTIc has done by making the fluff zone & graveyard not count either).

Congratulations Blue! We kind-of knew it was over when the top three member on the leader board were Blue, and the high-score leaders kept swapping between Didums, and Blue Team members.
Blue and Red have some hardcore gamers. I wonder how long the High scores will stand. Are we clearing them after today, or do they stay there for others to beat? Seems like this was a good way to have a fairly competitive arcade section.
I salute all teams for a job well done! Some very talented people.
