I'm a journalism major, but only once have I worked in the industry. The rest of the jobs which I did include being a social media manager at a non-profit, being an office assistant at a feminist NGO, being a data entry clerk at my university and being a researcher for an academic legal initiative. What's your experience?

I'm paid to own, like, 50 gajillion cadillacs. From the government! I don't have to do any real work at all!
Why, just the other day, I got a 20 000 dollars to plant organic rudebegas in my back yard! I didn't even plant them! I just flushed the seeds down the toilet!

That beats being a secretary for the guy from the Eagles. Hotel California is ok, I guess.

Also I facilitated connectivity and enhanced metrics across all production gradients as a form of integration with the digital marketwebs of the 21st century. Suck on that!

For no reason at all, of course, here's a picture of a chimp in a suit. For no reason.

As long as I'm in a fast-paced service environment where I'm working with people I'm good. I love it even more when we're working on communication skills.

Last couple jobs in order:

Database administrator/overall nerd at shelter (3 months)
Assistant coordinator for a non-profit (3-4 months, probably closer to 3)
Flipped burgers for a couple days. Fuck that place. I kept the uniform. My coworkers were all cool and there was copious amounts of pot to be had. (3-4 days)
Research test subject for PTSD (this was a fun experience . . . 1 day)
Carpet shampooer (3-4 days. mostly depressing since all the Filipinos had sob stories about sending their 9.50 an hour back home to their children)
Things I prefer not to mention as the legality is a bit questionable
Now I make pissy mobile apps for people all up in capitalisms junk. Gotta make that chaching to buy more shit!!
