Kinda hard to be really motivated in high school...I think you should not worry too much.

No, I'm sorry, I didn't mean for it to sound like that! I'm just saying that it isn't my area. I didn't mean to come off as a jerk or anything, so I really do apologise if I did.

Jeez. I only started this because I wanted to bring up my grades somehow. :-/ I'm really sorry if I offended anyone in the process, or sounded like a jerk, or anything.

I had a similar issue. Then I learned to be consistent in my studies (1-2 hrs per day studying daily). My grades are still not perfect but my grades are where I want them to be.
Another factor you should consider is people tend to not try too hard if the subconcious mind does not think it is necessary. Best way to overcome this is consistency.
Edit - I believe someone has hacked um's account.

Don't worry about it. Someone is just having a bad day or something.

    I apologize.

Sorry haha misinterpreted due to ... mitigating circumstances? I'll edit the posts

    Edit:

    Thanks mod team
For all that we have done, as a civilization, as individuals, the universe is not stable, and nor is any single thing within it. Stars consume themselves, the universe itself rushes apart, and we ourselves are composed of matter in constant flux. Colonies of cells in temporary alliance, replicating and decaying and housed within, an incandescent cloud of electrical impulses. This is reality, this is self knowledge, and the perception of it will, of course, make you dizzy.

Don't consider yourself above socializing. So called 'intelligence' does not light a candle compared to direct experience, and experience says exposure to experiences which differ from your own is valuable.

While we're being honest let's also bring up the fact that high school is incredibly easy, so don't adjust your expectations too much while you're there.

I don't consider myself above socializing. On the contrary, I've tried, I'm just an incredible failure at it.
