Actually, the funniest story I have heard was when an MIT student went home for break. While he was gone, his classmates plastered over his door, added trim, repainted the hall, and even installed a lightswitch where the opening to his room was so it looked like his room had never existed. When he came back, everyone ignored him. Security showed up when he started taking a crowbar to the hallway wall.

I never heard about the crowbar part.
