Like cafe, I'm also a thirtysomething housewife. At the moment, that "something" is one. I have two kids, an almost-8-year-old girl and a 2-year-old-boy. (With any luck, this forum will thrive and this information will become outdated-- I encourage the reader to make note of the daystamp and adjust accordingly.) I'm married to NoahFence who sometimes posts here. I also edit and write textbooks, and occasionally I provide childcare. I'm still not sure what I want to be when I grow up, but fortunately, that doesn't seem to be something I'm in much danger of doing any time soon.

And with that, I'll say a few words about my fellow madmin, proteanmix. I don't know her too extremely well yet, but I know enough to look forward to learning more. She's hella smart (yes, I said hella, so did Eileen which makes it cooler), fun, and she don't take no guff off nobody. We're glad to have her on board and promise the hazing rituals won't kill or incapacitate her!
