I can't really imagine grouping them much further than the dominant functions:

ESP- Se
ISJ- Si
ENP- Ne
INJ- Ni
ETJ- Te
ITP-Ti
IFP- Fi
EFJ- Fe

Any more than that and temperaments start to become impractical and misleading.
