20-30 minutes of walking a day shouldnt be so bad after such long work days. it's not technically
in your home but any of the surrounding area will do... if you have greenery nearby, even better.
if you've found that you're eating slightly more than you need to (which would account for a slow weight gain) then this combined with cutting a few of the unhealthier items in your diet should turn the tables and relax your psyche to boot.
